I’m Laura Wied, a UX Designer based in greater Milwaukee.
I have Kimmy Schmidt-levels of optimism for the power of UX and fight design crimes with empathy. Thanks to YouTube, my library card, and tenacious curiosity, I can repair a typewriter, bake an authentic cheese soufflé, raise a hive of honeybees, and sew my own jeans . I also tell stories with words, pictures, and my hands.
Ultimately, I want to help others, solve problems, make new friends, and develop the Internet’s power for good – one effective interface at a time.
